A week ago I drove from Austin to Houston for a high school concert. As I was leaving Houston that night I hit a pothole on one of the always under construction roads.
I killed the left front wheel and dented the left rear.
After spending the night in a cheap motel and Sunday morning working with the guys at the local NTB, I got absolutely nowhere. I got a good deal of the dent out of the front wheel, but never managed to get it to hold air. At that point I called my father in Austin and he brought me my track tires, so I could drive home.
I then got online and ordered new wheels...
They’re the same as I was running, but in bronze instead of black.

Me too. If I didn’t have to replace them because of the cracked one I might have stayed with black, but I kind of feel like clack wheels are the standard now, so might as well be different.

Is there a tire-wheel curse going on lately on Oppo? Isn’t this like the third case of bent wheels in a month?

When I had y wheels on the ISF refurbished I should have had them paint them bronze. Would have looked great.
